Islanders’ Hamonic out 2 weeks with facial injuries (Yahoo! Sports)
New York Islanders defenseman Travis Hamonic will be out of action for two weeks after sustaining a broken nose and a facial laceration when he was hit in the face with a slap shot in Saturday's game, the team announced Sunday.
