Parenteau’s OT goal gives Isles 4-3 win over Wings (AP)

P.A. Parenteau scored on a power play at 3:57 of overtime to give the New York Islanders a 4-3 victory over the Western Conference-leading Detroit Red Wings on Friday night. Parenteau put in a one-timer from the left faceoff dot for his ninth goal. John Tavares had a goal and two assists, Matt Moulson and Jesse Joensuu also scored and Dwayne Roloson made 38 saves for New York.
